All we know for sure is that Thomas Sadler, a patient at Long Grove, was buried on 31 March 1910, aged 64.

There are many records for Thomas Sadler’s, and although one is in the vicinity of Epsom, we cannot be sure to link to this record as the asylums held people from all over England.

1908, 20th January, Thomas Sadler, a Boot Repairer, was both admitted and same day discharged from the Sidney Road Homerton workhouse, reason: M.O.T. Infirmary.

1908, on 29th February, Thomas Sadler, a Boot repairer, was admitted to the Sidney Road Homerton workhouse.
